Better Virtual Than Nothing...

i just finished reading an email from a friend i havent seen in a while who is going through a bit of a rough patch, though not rougher than most of us. because life is so busy in the summertime we just haven't had a moment to connect. so she signed off by saying, "better virtual than nothing."...

Hmmm...Better virtual than nothing.........:
This led me thinking about all the people around me who live virtually, in blogs and online dating and social networks. and how opposed i am to these seemingly authentic connections that people plug into. and even now the WMC is existing on this plane (tho it's mainly to keep track of the ideas in an organized fashion).

right after i finished that thought and reading my friend's email, the next email was a dose of Daily Wisdom from Ram Dass which said:
"The gift you offer another person is just your being." and of course those who practice the intellectual practices of spirituality understand "being" as partially virtual. a conscious energy perhaps, and in this line of thought in this entry, a conscious energy connecting to an energy grid leaving imprints. and these imprints existing also on an energy level. tho they can be a catalyst affecting the temporal physical plane. and affecting other conscious energies. so perhaps one's thoughts are more powerful than we think. but maybe we have given too much power and authority to our thoughts..... are we stuck in the brow chakra? how fast will we go once we are in the crown chakra? and is it possible for someone involved so virtually to get enlightented and come back and integrate others through this vehicle?
